The web being such an accessible place, growing day-by-day, it is also fiercely competitive. Web visitors can be fickle, have short attention spans and want everything for free so pleasing the masses is a task that should not be taken lightly!

New start or fresh start?
Whether you are just starting up or want to start fresh, there is an opportunity to re-visit your company image by looking at your corporate identity, branding and logo. Yes, you may have piles of company letterheads & business cards in a drawer somewhere but if they look rubbish, what's the point of using them? We have worked with many different individuals & companies to give their branding a facelift or an overhaul within a small budget. You only have to take one look at the 2012 Olympics logo to see that throwing vast sums of money at re-branding isn't always the way to get good results.
Be proud of your website
Maybe you have a strong brand identity but your current website looks like it was written by a work-experience kid back in 1989? Well that's a common complaint, believe me. If this sounds like you, you're website is probably generating negative PR and disinterest - if I saw a site that looked 10 years out of date and looked completely devoid of life, I wouldn't touch the company with a barge pole (...has anyone actually used a barge pole?)
The web is a very different medium to design for and it deserves respect. Websites run on hundreds of different computer platforms, operating systems and browsers and getting it just right on all of these.....even when the screen size is a few inches in the case of iPhones and PDAs..... is essential. There are considerations for designing for the web but this is our job.... Silver Innovation are there to sculpture your company image into a polished website viewable online.
How does it work?
Well for starters, it depends whether you have your own branding or not. If you do, then we can take this and develop it into something that works on the web. Alternatively, we can go into creative mode and establish you a brand, logo and possibly supporting artwork. All of our work will be of the highest professional standard and delivered as full vector images which can be scaled & used for other media i.e. letterheads, signs, business cards, posters etc.
With most projects, the design phase works something like this:
- Client (that's you) supplies Silver Innovation with logo, artwork, images/photos (if you have any), existing brochures , marketing material etc.
- Silver Innovation (that's us) may undertake some re-branding/corporate identity work for you if required. Perhaps just polishing up and sexing up your existing stuff
- Client gives us some thoughts on what their company is about, what image they want to capture, what their target audience is etc.
- Silver Innovation fire up the creative engine and produce some concepts/mockups in Photoshop or similar which are then shown to the client as a PDF
- Client provides feedback on likes, dislikes
- Silver Innovation re-work the concepts to incorporate the feedback
- Repeat steps #5, #6 until client is happy!
Pretty easy eh?
Don't worry if you don't have much of an eye for design - we can advise on what looks good, what's fashionable/stylish. Hopefully!
Also don't fret if you don't have any images, photos or existing branding. We can make use of stock images to spice things up and add that professional look & feel.
