Fresh design coming soon
by Admin on 20th June 2010 @ 17:44pm
It's been some months since the launch of the Silver website and we think it's time a for a few changes!
We're working on a slightly fresher look & feel and hope to trim down some of the content so it's a little more appealing to the average visitor.
The portfolio is soon to be expanded to include more projects....we've been so busy doing client work that we've had no time to shout about it!
We'd love to hear some feedback if you can spare 5 mins - what works, what doesn't, what looks good and what hurts your eyes?!
Fresh fresh fresh - It's to go with all this sunshine we seem to have right now!

Gadget Show 2010

Ladies in catsuits, lightshows and some interesting tech!
As a lover of all things high-tech, scientific and gadgety, a visit to the show was on my to-do list! I attended with a mate (along with 65,000 other people apparently) to check out all the goodies, mingle with some exhibition-stand-girls and generally try and soak up some of the knowledge and ideas floating about!
The live show was particularly good with the presenters; Suzi, Jason, Jon and Ortis being very entertaining & funny. There was tons of audience participation, lots of free giveaways and cool, if a bit cheesy stunts. For me, the best bit was the light show performed by Feeding The Fish. Check out the video - it doesn't do it justice but watch a few minutes and there are some bits that come across OK. Amazing :)
Another good aspect were the guest speakers on topics like home automation, top tips for 2010, future technology, energy saving.
All in all, not much free stuff but an enjoyable day out - as long as you don't expect MGM studios...

Some news about Abercrombie&Fitch uk.However, Abercrombie&Fitch is so popular now, but some experts say that Abercrombie&Fitch is currently below its 50-day Look for these moving averages to decline to confirm the company's downward momentum. So Abercrombie&Fitch clothing is still the trend, and welcome to our Abercrombie store to place an order. According to some articles, Abercrombie&Fitch is bringing its A & F Quarterly back to US stores. First launched in 1997, the mix of articles and partially-nude models was considered totally scandalous. It was pulled from the stores in December 2003, but come July 17, shoppers will be able to pick up a copy in abercrombie outposts. But now Abercrombie is going to bring back Controversial Magazine. abercrombie women and abercrombie men in Abercrombie store are good for you.

But some positive feedback from various people on the new website so far...
Well the new website has been live for a week now and we've had some positive feedback, mainly via email. People must be too scared to post on the site itself!
Today we've added a few tweaks to ensure the site meets the relevant XHTML 1.0 Strict standard so our code is now squeeky clean, hurrah!
Next on the agenda is to get some more content on the site - more example projects in the portfolio, more galleries and more services! :)
Thanks for all the folk who have taken the website for a spin and sent us comments.
Silver Innovation website launched!

All with the help of Sunday mornings...
Hurrah!
The new Silver Innovation website is now live (well, duh!)
Mainly the site is there to say a little about what we do but also to demonstrate some of the content management, pretty stuff and widgets we use. We'll be revisiting the site from time to time (Sundays permitting!) to chuck on a few new bells & whistles to keep things interested and cutting edge.
The playground area in particular will be where new goodies are put through there paces. On there currently is a little Ajax shoutbox so it will be interesting to see how spammed and abused this gets! Naughty humans!
Ok well, please let us know what you think of the site - even if you're a nerd with your hands on the HTML source code already *shudders*. You can leave us a comment on this blog post by doing a quick clicky with your mousey to the bottom right of this article. please :)
First blog post!
by Admin on 7th March 2010 @ 7:25am
Writing this at 7:19am on a Sunday morning - start the way you mean to go on I suppose!
For some reason, working early in the morning suits but it's probably not a great habit to get into! Anyway, the sun is shining, it's lovely and peaceful and have a cup of tea to hand. Bliss.
OK so the first blog post is going to be a lot of waffle (not the breakfast kind) but it will meander into something useful eventually.
Currently working on the Silver Innovation website which will be going live in March. It's been unusually difficult as by being the client, developer and project lead, keeping the same direction & focus has been a challenge. Too many ideas and not enough people to bounce them off and get concrete feedback. It's very easy to go off on a tangeant then come back to reality and realise no real progress has been made.
As with many things in life, sorting one's own affairs tends to be the very last thing one gets round to!
So the hard slog continues but hopefully with a satisfying result on the way soon with our shiny new website.
If nothing else, the cup of tea should keep me sane!
